grabbing for myself accepting adding "needhelp" keyword - perhaps external developers do want to have a look at this? targeting for OOo 2.0 *** Issue 12921 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Inserted the word 'field' into Summary so as to bring it up in more searches and avoid further duplicates. Unfortunately I'm not a prgrammer :-( P h i l l Inserted the word 'field' into Summary so as to bring it up in more searches and avoid further duplicates. Unfortunately I'm not a prgrammer :-( P h i l l "According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap (http://tools.openoffice.org/releases) this issue was retargeted to OOo Later." change subcomponent to 'none' Added myself to CC. *** Issue 50085 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** When using postgresql 8.1 jdbc i get openoffice 2.0.2rc3 when using formated text field i get SQL Status: 42804 ERROR: column "birthdate" is of type date but expression is of type character varying I can enter a date then save the record, then erase the date and save the record and it works with no error. it seam like oo is not casting to the right type. it seams like the formated text field is changing null to something else. works fine with regular text fields fixed in CWS dba204a find more information about this CWS, like when it is available in the master builds, in EIS, the Environment Information System: http://eis.services.openoffice.org/EIS2/cws.ShowCWS?Path=SRC680%2Fdba204a targeting to 2.0.4 fs-> msc: please verify in CWS dba204a Note: the issue is fixed in a way that the senseless "today" and "now" defaults are removed without substitute. verified in CWS dba204a find more information about this CWS, like when it is available in the master builds, in EIS, the Environment Information System: http://eis.services.openoffice.org/EIS2/cws.ShowCWS?Path=SRC680%2Fdba204a Hi, this is fixed in the current master. The current master is available at http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html I close this issue now. Bye Marc reopened, as date fields in a grid control still have the default "today" (and it is not possible to enter Null values) reassigned accepting well, it actually "defaults" to the last value which you previously encountered in this column, or today/now if you did not yet encounter a NULL value. Fixed in CWS dba22a. fs-> msc: please verify in CWS dba22a targeting to 2.2, since the fix is part of a CWS aiming for this release verified in CWS dba22a find more information about this CWS, like when it is available in the master builds, in EIS, the Environment Information System: http://eis.services.openoffice.org/EIS2/cws.ShowCWS?Path=SRC680%2Fdba22a ok in OOo2.2RC1 -> closed |
