as discussed with ssa, please have a look at that beast I cannot see a bad behavior in the framework code. It looks like a problem in the base implementation of the toolbar code located in VCL. It uses to much GDI resources to display all toolbar buttons. I can reproduce a hugh rise of GDI resources during scrolling through the buttons of the toolbar (from about 100 to 1250 objects) under Windows XP! So for me this looks more like a bug than a wish for an enhancement. I will have a look at it. Perhaps we can optimize resource usage for toolbox bitmaps not being shown. Fixed in OOo 643. The Issue you raised has been marked as 'Resolved' and not updated within the last 1 year+. I am therefore setting this issue to 'Verified' as the first step towards Closing it. If you feel this is incorrect, please re-open the issue and add any comments. Many thanks, Andrew Cleaning-up and Closing old Issues ~ The Grand Bug Squash, pre v3 ~ http://marketing.openoffice.org/3.0/announcementbeta.html As per previous posting: Verified -> Closed. A Closed Issue is a Happy Issue (TM). Regards, Andrew |
