Reassigned to Michael. I was not able to reproduce this problem with my test documents. So please attach your sample document to this issue so that we can see here what's going wrong. Thank you very much! Created attachment 1673 [details] Example document for issue 4194 There seems to be something wrong in importing/exporting numbering styles to/from Word format. Could you please attach the original Word document (which you used BEFORE you changed it with OpenOffice) and the .sxw file you mentioned above (or send them directly to my account (mru@openoffice.org). This should give us a bit advice. For workaround with your numbering problem: when you assign a Heading style to a paragraph and the wrong numbering level is show, you can adjust it by pressing the Tab or Shift-Tab key when the cursor is placed right after the number. Bold text is not formatted as bold when saving as Win2000 doc format Ah, now I see, where the Problem is. This is not an real Outline numbering. The Headlines are numbered because a numbering style has been assigned to the Heading1/2/3 Styles. The numbering is not connected to the heading styles (which is done via "Tools/Outline Numbering"). So if you want to lift your new Heading to Level 3 (e.g. 1.2.1) you have to press the Tab key once you have inserted it. Closed, because not a bug. The Outline Levels have not been assigned to the Headings correctly. |
