It seems running setup and repairing the install sometimes fixes the problem temporarily. I did a net install, btw. Bo, does this problem still exist in OOo 1.0.1? Thank you for using and supporting OOo. Using gnome ?, if so this is almost certainly issue 4494 I haven't seen this in a long time even before I upgraded to 1.0.1, and yes, I'm using Gnome. I think it may have been connected to an old file from Star Office 5.x in my home directory. Bo, have you found a working solution to this problem? Did the Gnome fix in 4494 resolve the issue? I've since upgraded both OO and Linux and haven't run into that particular problem more. I have another problem though as OO crashes when I open it the first time but not the second. Should probably enter a new issue for this unless it is well known. Mandrake 9.0 and the OO that came with it, running Gnome Thanks Bo for the follow up. Please open a new issue if the Mandrake issue is reproducible. As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified. As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details.
