SBA: Please note that this brings the risk of using fonts that don't have the glyphs the respective Office language needs. Example: A Hebrew Office on an English Windows system might be the first instace to show that the system font has ugly Hebrew glyphs. Reassigned to Bettina. adding dina as cc A dupe or near-dupe of #11226,#13670,#29242 as well of at least one already closed (INVALID) issue. I really don't think the (IMHO rather constructed) example of using a Hebrew OO on a English Windows should make the user experience bad for the vast majority of users. After all, that's what preferences are for: Catering for stuff that is not satisfied by defaults. BTW I think Accessibility might not be the best place for this option that makes sense for 95% or more of the userbase (after all, who wants not to use the system default menu font in menus?) I hope you are reconsidering this. /ralph To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements". Created attachment 73847 |
