Hi Albert, normally you find the form in the datasource browser. - Open a new document - press F4 or VIEW/DATASOURCES - open your datasource on the left hand side. - open the forms container ==>> there are your forms created with the autopilot. doubleclick the forms and you can use it as expect. Is this what you are looking for? If yes then please close this issue. If not please reopen it and give me more info. Bye Marc Actually, it is a more subtle problem, but I finally cracked it. I had my document types defaulting to MS format, not OO format. Even though the "SAVE AS" of the form indicated .sxw format, they do not work when double clicking. Change the default document format to OOo (.swx) format, and now the forms work. To duplicate the problem, you have to a) set default file format to MS b) create a form c) CLOSE OOo d) double click on the form - then you get the form in edit mode, not as a "live" form (i.e. connected to a database) This is not clear from the help files - maybe a few words would explain? Lastly, just a word of thanks and admiration of the fantastic job you guys did - splendid! Thanks guys - you rock! reopen, because it's still a bug. change summary, set target , confirm and send to the right developer short description: - change default file format under TOOLS/OPTIONS/LOADSAVE/GENERAl to Word. - create a form with the form autopilot ==>> the form is saved in doc format ==>> the form doesn't work The wizard should save the form in OOo format. Personally I think forms should always be saved in OOo format - after all, MSWord does not have that functionality, so what's the point in converting the form? OOo has a unique function here. IMHO, simply force the SAVE AS of a form in OOo format, regardless of default settings, and adjust the help files to indicate that forms will always be saved as OOo. (.sxw) yes, this sounds very reasonable, Albert ... I will overwork the formwizard for the next version and work this bug in. change subcomponent to 'none' BC: Forms and reports are now always saved with the "writer8" filter . . Hi, fixed in cws dbwizard1 Bye Marc Hi, verified in cws dbwizard1 Bye Marc Hi, fixed in current developer build -> close.
