Hi Bettina, 1 4 u. Frank As the competitor has integrated collaboration functionality, it makes much sense there. Collaboration is not a defined keyfeature for OO.o 2.0 and far away from implementation. Perhaps it could be considered then (in Office later). Could a developer check whether this belongs in component framework rather than spreadsheet? Yes i would find it very useful if I was notified that a file was already in use and asked if I wanted to open in Read-only mode, be notified of file avialblitity, or just not to open the fiel at all. I am upgrading today to OO.o 3.0 RC1. I am hoping maybe this was addressed. Nope Version 3.0 RC1 made the problem worse. now it tries to open the document reguardless if the file is in use. At least before it said in the Title bar (Read-Only) To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements". |
