If you are inside the Tools -> Options menu and click on "Help" the OO Help
Window will open but OO will report an "unrecoverable error" and closes.

This is always reproducable. Only tested under Linux, yet.

ATR: I could not reproduce this issue, it works for me. I checked this
on a SuSE 8.2 distribution.

Debian 3.0 crashes. And it is always reproducable.

Since this error only seems to happen on my system it should be a
problem with one of my local libraries. OO reports an error in
libpthread.so.0 (not realy surprising). I have not a pure Debian Woody
System installed but a mixed stable/testing system. Even the libc6 is
from testing with the version 2.3.1-16.

At the moment I can't say if it is a Debian specific problem or a
general problem with libc 2.3.1.

By the way, glibc-2.3.1 has several known problems.
You should upgrade to glibc-2.3.2 to rule those problems out
before reporting further crash bugs.
