This can be resolved by setting the Backup path to somewhere where the current mundane user owns. Otherwise, the backup path is only writable by root. I think the default should be to store them somewhere under the user's home directory. Not reproducible in a OO 1.1 Beta2 (single user installation). Sounds like root has done the installation but a user tries to work with it. That won´t go ! In that case, do a network/client installation or use the current installation as the user, who has done it. . |
