Description monkey1s2 2003-04-02 03:04:24 UTC
When tring to cite references the short name 'thing' for numbered references
tends to get cumborsome to use. I am tring to use a reference format that uses
elevated numbers as references... it seems that oo is limited to putting a
reference's short name in brackets. OK, so I have resorted to naming all of the
short names as numbers. This is OK until I need to reorder the numbers, because
of editing. I then have to: 1) go back into the Bibliography database tool
rework the short names, 2) remove the bibliographic entry on the sentence and
add a new one in its place, and then 3) refresh the bibliography at the end of
the document. Maybe I am using the tool wrong. But it really seems hard to get
the bibliography tool to do numbered references.
