after the previous version was removed, the installation now completed without these problems. I've tried to install on Win2000, WinME and Win98. No problem: it makes no difference wether a 627 was installed or not, installation runs without any error message or crash. Assumption: you have used the same directories? If yes, please don't do so. At this state of developing there might be such important changes that there might be incompatibilities between the builds. Olaf, just for the record, yes, I used the same directory. *** Issue 1150 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** invalid -> closed In response to Olaf, 2001-06-19, I'd suggest the default directory be set to C:\..\OpenOffice632 (or whatever the version number is), rather than ...\OpenOffice60. The latter would be reserved for when the production version comes out. Hi Falko, Is this possible? Simple answer: No. As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified. As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. |
