Comment 3 pavel 2003-02-05 19:58:02 UTC
Thank you very much for your work. Do you think that all this work
will be in next developers build?
Comment 4 hjs 2003-02-07 12:31:19 UTC
yes, see posting in "releases@openoffice.org"
Comment 5 pavel 2003-02-19 17:40:34 UTC
Please have a look at the attached patch - this is the rest of things
we have in our build right now for Czech and Slovak - many things are
missing in 644m1. Please note, that I have not yet correctly finished
building 644m1, because of troubles with getting the sources from CVS
and other problems.

ok, a lot of topics...
- AFAIK, the missing bitmap entries in the *.src files are needed only
if you have some language dependent bitmaps which are merged into
those "lc_*.bmp" or "sc_*.bmp". otherwise the fallback (german) will
be used. this looks like part of the localization to me...
- "lang.mk" is a simple misstyping. there is a "slov" already which of
cause should be "slovak".
- "postset.mk" shoud contain the missing parts from rev 1.17.2.2 on.
could you check yours?
- the change im "bmpgui.cxx" shouldn't be needed as the build only
uses the commandline version.
- for the changes in "scp" and "sysui" i'll cc the according developers.

OK,

I will check next snapshot (hopefully with sources ;-) and will report
any other things.

Thank you for your work!
Comment 9 hjs 2003-03-04 16:21:44 UTC

Comment 10 pavel 2003-03-06 22:54:48 UTC
lang.mk: can you please change it to slovak?
postset.mk: 1.17.2.2 is OK, thank you.
I will try without bmpgui patch and will come back with results tomorrow.
Comment 11 pavel 2003-03-07 11:44:51 UTC
Everythign seems to be OK. Only minor change to cs_CS.xml file is needed.

Also 7043. It adds support for sk_SK.xml locale in OOo.

I will attach three files to this issue:

- new sk_SK.xml
- diff for adding sk_SK.xml to the sources
- diff for cs_CZ.xml

Comment 13 ooo 2003-03-07 22:31:22 UTC
@Pavel:
Sorry, but I can't accept the patches against cs_CZ.xml
The diff completely reassigns the formatindex=... values without
taking care of the documented preconditions lined out in
i18npool/source/localedata/data/locale.dtd (to take a look please get
the latest revision I just checked in on the ooo11beta branch, -r1.9.28.1)

Without having investigated any further, I assume that sk_SK.xml
suffers from the same problem.
Comment 14 pavel 2003-03-08 00:17:02 UTC
Thank you Eike, we will lokk at both cs_CZ and sk_SK and will fix them
according the specs.
Comment 15 pavel 2003-03-10 21:35:52 UTC
I have created separata IZ entry 12209 for solving cs_CZ.xml and
sk_SK.xml problems.

So this bug is complete regarding Czech and Slovak. Thank you very
much for all your work you did for us!
