OpenOffice.org 643 sxw file showing issue
Created attachment 4026 [details]
OpenOffice.org 643 "Flat XML" file that will not fully open (stops displaying at page 11 or so)
The attached flat XML file in fact is broken (it conatins a <?xml ...?> within the text. However, I've tried to export the sxw document once again as flat XML file, and this file is okay. Maybe Aidan can give us a hint whether where was a bug fix some time ago. aidan: I'd be delighted! The <?xml version="1.0"?> tag comes from the content of the document. In the older version of the XFlatXml.jar, entities such as < > & etc. , were not escaped properly. This causes the < to be output as "<" instead of "<".This has been fixed, and the new version will be in the next release. until then, an updated version can be downloaded from http://framework.openoffice.org/source/browse/framework/filter/source/jars/XFlatXml.jar As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified. As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. |
