Ak ste vytvorili vlastnú šablónu a chcete ju poskytnúť aj iným používateľom. Pošlite ju v prílohe na grex@openoffice.org a pripojte aj krátku špecifikáciu o vytvorenej šablóne.

Ak chcete mať stiahnuté šablóny medzi ostatnými v počítači, nakopírujte ich do adresára template:
V systéme GNU/Linux ho nájdete: /home/meno_uzivatela/.openoffice.org2/user/template/
V systéme Windows:
C:\Documents and Settings\meno_uzivatela\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\template\
C:\Users\meno_uzivatela\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice.org2\user\autocorr\
