Hi Bettina, one 4you Summary: OOo should either pick up all the Windows settings or should (preferrably) allow full customization of defaults in Options, so that the default formats used for editing correspond to the required regional standard. In many cases people have to work on documents complying with many regional standards, so setting the defaults in OOo and saving them with the document would be the most general solution. Hasn't this old issue been fixed or handled in the mean time? The program behavior has not changed. in OOo 2.2.0 Date can be formatted to display as YYYY-mm-dd but will still appear as dd/mm/yy when editing. There does not appear to be any way to enter data in yy-mm-dd format without the year and day being misinterpreted. To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements". |
