Description jsahiri 2008-05-09 17:12:28 UTC
Settings:
Macbook, Intel, Leopard installation, OpenOffice Aqua 3.0 beta
1) when I select a word and do control, I do not see the search in google, dictionary which I see with
other applications such as textedit.
2) Do not see Speech Option neither
3) When I click on File, send, and select to send as email or doc or pdf, I do not get the email
compose window which I get when using other applications such as mozilla, firefox or Neooffice.

In other words, Openoffice aqua does not invokes the profiles of other applications that are on mac. I
use Mac Mail.app and Mac built-in dictionary.

No idea why this should be framework/scripting...

ab->pl: Is this your area? Please have a look.

When I use "File->Send->Document as email" in DEV300m12 mail.app starts (which
is less helpful for me since I use Thunderbird, but I digress), so I guess that
one has been fixed in the meantime. As for the other things, you'r right, we
don't use any services on Mac/Aqua yet. The goal for 3.0 however is to come up
to par with our other platforms, more system integration issues will be fixed

The system wide dictionary - which I learned to love recently - doesnt work on my 320m19 PPC either.
