Product: General Reporter: joerg.skottke
Component: uiAssignee: AOO issues mailing list <issues>
Status: CONFIRMED --- QA Contact:
Severity: Trivial
Priority: P3 CC: issues, Mathias_Bauer
Version: current
Target Milestone: AOO Later
Hardware: All
OS: All
Issue Type: DEFECT Latest Confirmation in: ---
Developer Difficulty: ---

Description joerg.skottke 2007-12-11 07:25:18 UTC
Reproduction:

- Open new writer document, change it at random
- Save the file, give filename /dev/null/humpty
-> Errormessage appears:
Error saving document untitled1
General input/output error while accessing /dev/null/humpty.

At this point the filename should be "humpty.ods" and it must not be truncated.

I'm not sure what the name should be here as this depends on the implementation
of the file dialog. If the dialog detects the missing folder before it appends
the extension it will behave as described here. Maybe we can fix that in our
file dialog, let's see (->pb).

Anyway, this issue surely isn't that important so the target needs an adjustment
(OOoLater).

As the file name is not truncated I changed the summary to reflect the real
situation
