for crashing the application.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Is you Win95 machine patched with the DCOM95 patch. It's required.

The Windows 95 machine was patched with DCOM95, which we finally
figured out was found in the Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack
(which is the latest version of IE that runs with Windows 95).
However, I'm still quite curious as to what DCOM95 does.
