example CGM file which crashed openoffice 1.0.1
I have tried to export some other CGM file from "dia" Linx program. Importing in Openoffice worked (but the whole picture was zoomed in). This second file which worked looked more like a binary format as opposed to text format generated by fig2dev (xfig). The crash is reproduceable with an actual internal version and with OO 1.0.1. Reassigned to Sven. I have to mention that OO does only support binary cgm format, so the attached cgm file won't be loaded. But it is a bug that we are crashing on linux and unix if loading cgm in text form. This bug has been fixed. Now only binary CGM graphics are imported, text versions of CGM are loaded into Writer. The fix takes place in: sd/source/ui/app/sdlib.cxx -r1.30.28.1 (Improved CGM detection) goodies/source/filter.vcl/icgm/cgm.cxx -r1.5.20.1 (execeptions now catched) Reopened Issue to be verfied by QA. Reassigned Issue to be verified by QA. (The fix takes place in cws[draw3]) Set to fixed. Verified. Closed. |
