Description Unknown 2002-06-11 15:19:26 UTC
Attempting to save the document found at
http://www.mindspring.com/~rruhl/document2.doc back to its original MS Word 2000
format results in an unrecoverable error. Writer has failed to save this
document every time.

Comment 3 prgmgr 2002-07-14 16:15:47 UTC
The problem still exists if:

1. Open the document.
2. Save as OO Writer format. This works okay.
3. Open OO Writer format document.
4. Save as Word 97/2000/XP format.

This is mine.
Comment 5 caolanm 2002-07-15 09:29:37 UTC
This will not crash in the next release. It is the comment in the
frame, word itself cannot handle comments inside drawing textboxes and
all frames are exported as drawing textboxes even though there also
exists such legacy frames as the original .doc contained from which
the frame was imported. Finding a comment in a frame wa unexpected by
the export and foolishly unhandled by the exporter. Delete the comment
and all is well for the export.

Reassigned to Michael.
Comment 7 michael.ruess 2002-11-28 08:44:47 UTC
Yep, does not crash anymore in openOffice 643.
The remaining problem (Framehight shrinked to 0) is fixed in
OpenOffice 644.
