Description rtfirefly1000 2002-05-24 17:45:39 UTC
I installed everything, but soffice kept dying with the helpful message "Abort"
at the command line. I reinstalled everything with the default directories. Same
thing.

Finally, as a last resort, I tried running the ~/OpenOffice.org1.0/spadmin
program, installed some fonts, and low and behold: it worked like a charm.

Closing issue due to inactivity as WFM.

Please open a new issue if the problem still exists in the latest
release of OOo.
