Changing owner to requirements. CC: Regina from issue 5919 . I add CC. requirements ? ------- Additional comments from andreschnabel Mon Oct 4 10:39:56 -0700 2004 ------- mantas: > In OpenOffice Writer 1.1.2 formula (=sum) in table is lost (but original value of sum is displayed), when I save my document in Word 97/2000/XP format and reopen this document from .doc file. Is this the same bug or I should report another ? This is not the same problem, so you should file a new issue. You can cc me to the new issue or send me a mail with the ID, so I'll go and verify it. The second sentence of OOo web site main page is " Compatible with all other major office suites (...) ". So not importing MS Word 97 Eq fields is a non negligible compatibility defect, not only a requirement. closing as duplicate. As verry correct pointed out by the reporter, the issue already exists. So .. no sence to ob´pen a second one. Removing Thalion72 from cc, as this is my old nick (yes .. i have reported issue 5919) *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 5919 *** closed duplicate for all who have voted on this issue. please tranfer your votes to issue 50723 as this cannot be done automatically Until EQ fields are converted, they should at least NOT BE IGNORED but be replaced with something like '##EQ', so that the user can find those flags and replace them 'by hand', using OpenOffice Math. |
