OOo 1.1 writer Outline effect results in Opaque characters

Word Outline effect results in Transparent characters
reassigned to requirements. Currently, the "inner" area of outline characters are displayed white. For better compatibility with competitor there should be the mentioned option at least. Please have a look at the attachment “Character_Formatting.png”. Professional DTP packages offer this kind of character formatting. Can OOo move in this direction? Created attachment 23764 [details]

Attachment Character_Formatting2.png depicts some more character effects present in publication tools. Can they be included in *All* components of OOo like Impress, Draw, Chart etc, apart from word processor? Perhaps OOo should think beyond MSO. Created attachment 24076 [details]
