Using Writer for scientific paper, to enter citations from the bibiography
database, the user must select a bibiography item from a drop-down list in the
"Insert Bibiography Item" dialog.

For a very large bibiography database, the Short Names in this list do not give
enough context to allow the user to select the correct bibliography item.
Usually, the user will have to refer to the full database, in the data-sources
view, to find the right item.

A better, more intuitive way to add citations to a document would be to drag
records directly from the Bibiography database (data-sources view) into the
document. At present, data-source records are added as either text, fields or a
table when drag&dropped into a doc. I propose that when the data-source
corresponds to the one registered as the bibiography database, an additional
options be made available in the "Insert Database Columns" dialog, to insert the
Bibliography records as a Bibliography item (with appropriate options).

This would greatly simplify adding citations.
