Description falakshah 2004-10-26 22:27:38 UTC
I don’t know if this was done on purpose or is just a defect: OpenOffice Word
processor’s PDF function cannot convert PDF files with Type1 fonts. I use
various fonts to enhance the looks of my presentations (and I use OpenOffice’s
great feature to convert them) but I recently installed a Type1 font and
realized that OpenOffice cannot convert those fonts (TrueType and OpenType
fonts are converted perfectly). If this can be fixed in the next version, that
would be great.

HI falakshah,
as I can see you use a very old version but the PDF export has been improved and
many font problems are already fixed.
Please get the current version and stay tuned for OOo2.0 where the PDF-Export is
highly improved again.

Let me try it again with a newer version.

I'm pretty sure it is fixed. (it's a duplicate)

Reopen to mark it duplicate.
Comment 5 lohmaier 2004-10-29 21:22:55 UTC
duplicate.
If the problem still occurs, please reopen issue and attach sample document &
PDF (and, if possible, the font-file)
