Installed current version...  Installed patches to Solaris...

OpenOffice.org banner appears.... Then Abort

Also happens on Linux machine (Redhat 7.2)

is this still an issue? If it has to do with installation, please 

assign it to the installation component.

Hi, You cannot respond to IZ mail; you must respond to IZ itself.

I found that this is caused because I installed OpenOffice as root,
but was using it as a normal user.   I had hoped to be able to install
the tool once for all users, so installed it as root...

The problem went away when I used it as root, or when I changed the 
ownership of all of the files in the OpenOffice directory tree to
be owned by me and then used it as me...

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved
<wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for
details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
