Description norbert2 2004-03-02 20:58:55 UTC
If I insert a frame and do not enter something in the window of the
frame-properties and press OK nothing happens. I think here is an error-message
missing.

And if I do enter a not existing source-file a gray area appears with no content
that only can be selected and deleted by the navigator. (See attached example
spreadsheet.)

Please fix these 2 problems.

TM->SBA: Not a framework issue but seems to be an application problem. Please
have a look, thanks !

hi norbert2,

thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org...

I'm using OOo1.1.2RC, new document...

1.) If i insert a frame ( Insert -> Frame) and press [OK] a small frame with
borders appears.
==> why should an error box appear?
2.) The grey field in your document can be selected by clicking on a border of
it...
Comment 4 norbert2 2004-04-22 12:36:01 UTC
hi mci,

I mean "Einfügen/Frame", not "Einfügen/Rahmen..."! (german version)
Comment 5 norbert2 2004-04-22 12:36:55 UTC
In 1.1 nothing happens when entering nothing.
Comment 6 norbert2 2004-04-25 15:41:43 UTC
(to mci:)

I just have installed english 1.1.2RC.

The menu-item I mean is named

"Insert/Floating Frame" in english version!

you have to insert a target or a name for the floating frame. but i think it is right to
say this is a bug, because of usability reasons the user should be informed.

set target OOo later
set prio P4
reassigned to os
