Description telefoontoestel 2004-02-21 16:58:00 UTC
I have downloaded yesterday the latest version of OpenOffice in the Dutch
language (i guess it will be the RC5 package). I tried out the word
application and encountered some problems with it.

I create a new document, write text and save it as a word (xp) document and
close the entire application. Lateron when i want to make some adjustments I
open the application and the file. Then when I want to save it again, using
the quick-save button, it tells me that the file format can cause problems
using the word application and ask if it must proceed. If I acknowledge it ask
again under wich filename it must be saved and I have to reselect the file-
type.

I hope this isn't a too big a problem to resolve, because it's quite annoying.

Thank you.

set to invalid.
this question is the standard question for foreign document formats. answer with no
if this message pops up an this file will be saved in the same format as before.

ps: it is possible to set a different default format. open the dialog tools -> options
-> load/save -> general and change the "standard file format" to ms word
97/2000/xp if you have to work more with ms-file formats.
