Description billygrierson 2004-01-17 18:56:44 UTC
I have exported a file as a PDF. If I open the PDF with Acrobat Reader ver 6.0
there does not seem to be a problem. So far so good. If I try to transfer the
PDF to my Palm Tungsten using the Acrobat Reader for Palm OS, I get an error message

"This document is not a tagged PDF, and so does not have the additional
information that would make the document appearance better when viewed on the Palm.

We will attempt to add this information. This rewuires soem guessing as to the
intended way to represent the content, so the result may not appear as expected."

If I press the OK biutton on this error message I get a second message

"Error converting to tagged PDF: COuld not read page structure (bad page
contents) [1]"

Pressing OK then aborts the conversion.

So far, it is only PDF files created from OpenOffice which have caused this
problem. I have tried three different PDFs created from OpenOffice and all three
give this problem.

bug in Adobe's software, but workaround will be in OOo 1.1.1 -> duplicate
