Description adalseno 2004-01-10 17:46:13 UTC
Hi I've just installed OOo 1.1 and using calc I got this problem: I tried to
access my data on a PostgreSQL database, which has schema in it, using my ODBC
datasource. The source manager can connect to the database, in fact I can see
all my tables, but my queries will always fail stating "Attribute OID not
found".
Any suggestion? Should I use jdbc? Will it fix the problem?

I've also tried on a PC with Win98 and I got the same message.

correcting sub component (see
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/describecomponents.cgi?component=Database%20access,
please), and default owner

Hi,

please have a look at the FAQ at:

http://dba.openoffice.org/FAQ/specific.html#postgres_oid

This is an issue with the postgres driver and not with OOo.
I close this issue as invalid.

Bye Marc

Yes, it works! .
I tried to browse OOo site to find a solution myself, but I could not!
Thanks

PS Postgres is version 7.3.4 ODBC Driver is 7.03.01.00
