Description rayll 2003-12-30 06:39:34 UTC
I have a linux box serving sessions to a local X server and to an LTSP X
terminal. The X server on the main machine runs at 1400x1050, while the X
terminal is only capable of 1024x768.

when i print preview a spreadsheet on the main machine, it just fits onto a
single page. however, from the X terminal, the last few rows of the sheet spill
over onto a second page, rather than fitting onto a single page.

Hi,

this seems to be a problem with different font sizes / fontmetrics on the thin
client and the server. So using the same X-Server and the same fonts will solve
the problem.

Please try also to use the checkbox 'Use Printer Metrics for text formatting'
under Tools Options Spreadsheet General.

ok, the "Use Printer Metrics" checkbox seems to have solved this problem,
thanks!
