After an apparently successful install of 613 with the /net option on Linux,
typing soffice results in a message saying "Abort". No core dump, no other
diagnostics.

Base distribution is Redhat 6.2; Kernel is 2.4.0-test8; GNOME is Helix
GNOME.

Regards, Bevis.

Thanks

There is an easy workaround available, that's why I changed the target
milestone.

I've tested 641 C. When you try to start OpenOffice after a setup -
net installation without doing a user installation, OpenOffice now
shows a messagebox "The appliacation cannot be started..." and offers
to start the setup. While the text in the box isn't quite right, this
is the correct behavor ( see
http://installation.openoffice.org/proposals/netinstall.html for
details )

fixed, so why don't close it?
