Update fields ok with Oo 1.1, but freeze with Oo 680m15 none

Description milaa001 2003-12-03 08:32:35 UTC
I have convert a Microsoft Word document to OpenOffice (1.1).
This file has linked images, TOC and footers with cross-references to chapter
names. With OpenOffice 1.1, I was able to save the converted file to .sxw
format. Then, I install OpenOffice 680m15. I am able to open the file but when I
try to save it, OpenOffice crash.
I found then that the "Update fields" function crash also OpenOffice.

THANKS for the GREAT software :-)

Please Attach the documents which make this problem, so we can test
it/faster to confirm.
(Without the documents, we cannot confirm the problem easily/need more
time)
Don't forget to cut other part of the documents, so the file size is
small, but we still able to see the problem.

I just add an attached file where "Update fields" crash OpenOffice.
The text is deliberately incoherent. All linked images are also the
same (but from different files, present in the "Screenshot" folder),
except the first one that is not linked.
With OpenOffice 1.1, the "Tools-Update-Fields", "Tools-Update-Update
All" and "Save" works perfectly.
With OpenOffice 680m15, the same commands make OpenOffice use 100% CPU
and "freeze" forever.

Bug also exist with OpenOffice 680m17. With the same file (see attachement),
OpenOffice use 100% CPU and "freeze" forever.
