Would have liked to drag-drop the third data series into the graph with 2 data series none

Description magrawal 2003-10-29 17:05:14 UTC
It would be useful to allow users to select a column of data in Calc and
drag-drop it into an existing chart. The result would be that the new column
would be treated as an additional data series and would be plotted alongside
existing data series on the chart.
I realized the utility of this feature when I created the graph with 2 lines in
the attached spreadsheet. After I created the graph, I remembered that I also
wanted to see another column in the plot. Since I could not readily drag-drop
the third column to the existing chart, I had to create another chart. The
ability to add a data series to an existing chart seems so intuitively useful

Hi,

this is implemented.

Just select the cells to be added and D&D them with pressed CTRL Key
on the Chart.
