Fuzzy fonts in 3-slide view none

Description magrawal 2003-10-23 22:39:27 UTC
I have often noticed that when I change the number of slides in slide view (say
2 slides to 3 slides or 3 slides to 4 slides), the fonts in the slides becomes
fuzzy and unreadable as shown in the attached file.

Andrè, the problem here is that when changing the dia size just a
little bit, the bitmap is scaled up or down, using pixel blending.
Sure this is the death for text readability. Maybe we find a better
way for our new view concept?

With the introduction of the multi pane view the slide view will be
overhauled anyway. I will then have a look a the problem.
Comment 7 groucho266 2004-04-26 16:52:11 UTC
New previews are created whenever their size changes. Old versions are scaled
up or down only temporarily when the rendering of the new one is underway.
