Description rongroen 2003-10-21 10:56:57 UTC
In the URL you will find a Excel sheet. Opening this sheet in OO 1.1. RC4 NL
gives the following problems:

Cel A5
The color of the font is wrong: it is blue in stead of black.
The background of the font is wrong: It is grey in stead of yellow.

Cel B5
There is content in the cell. It should be empty. The colors of this cell are
wrong as well.

mark as accepted.

There are a number of problems in the import of this document. The URL
are all to specific locations in the document.

1. We get an invalid reference to the text mark location as we fail to
take into account that the text mark is zero terminated.
2. We default to displaying the URL in the cell if no text is present
- Excel simply displays blank text.
3. There is no formatting supported of the url in the import beyond
the default format. Thus the default blue font is used.
4. Screen Tips are not imported.

We do get the actual cell background colour correct.

setting the target. Just to clarify one point, Calc displays the URL
text in blue with a grey back background. The overall cell background
colour is not affected by this.
Comment 5 john.marmion 2003-11-06 10:36:45 UTC
I will attach a patch to fix the invalid reference of the url text
mark. But I propose that we leave the other issues raised by this
issue as they are.

1. On the blank url text cell, Excel treats the complete cell as an
URL cell while in Calc, the URL cell is only activated from the URL
text portion. Thus if no text is present, we default the Target as the
Text portion. Otherwise no activation would be possible.

2. The URL text/target portion is displayed in blue on a grey
background only.

3. Screen tips not currently supported.
