While trying to reopen the navigator, either using the F5 or button, the whole
program crashed.

Did the crash reporter dialog start and ask you to report this error ? 
If so, and you can reporduce this problem, then adding the contents of that file here 
can help the developers get a better idea of what the problem is.

please try to repair your installation, it look like your installation
have problem. 

do you have crash problem only with presentation or all ?

The both comments above are good.
Please repair the OOo or install it again.
If the bug still occures please send the crash report.
It would be greate if you could write the title of the crashreport in
this issue to know which crashreport it is.

OOo reinstalled and works after deleting the old directory. Case close.
