Creating a new Drawing page, then a Sphere (3d) in it. Select and copy of the
sphere object. Create a new WordProcessor page. Paste the Sphere into the new WP
document. An Object handles will be displayed (the little boxes) but the sphere
will not be displayed.

This is with Mandrake Linux PPC 9.1, on a Powerbook G3.

Sorry, no problem here performing the same task. Please try this:
switch off Open GL usage under
tools/options/Openoffice.org/view/OpenGLusage.
Does it work with other objects or are just 3D objects affected? How
is is to paste it to other applications (Draw, Spreadsheet)?
Thanks for your help.

Problem seems to be OpenGL selected in OOo, while XFree86-OpenGL not
installed (on Mandrake 9.1 PPC). Diselecting OpenGL in
Tools:Options:OpenOffice:OpenGL has corrected problem.

Thanks All,

Craig...
