Confirmed 1.1rc4 - RH9 Behavior not present in 1.0.2 Tam reassigned to us @us: i think this is something for you I can confirm this on a 1.1rc3 build. Please let QA confirm and developers evaluate the issue before setting the target milestone. Thanks, Stefan Hi Stefan -- That's what I was doing -- then I was told to set target milestone to 2.0 when confirming issue as "new". Please let me know where to get clarification on this? Thanks, Tam Hi Tamblyne, my comment was targeted to "ghibo" who set the target to OOo 1.1. I think, we should first try to confirm issues before setting target milestones. This issue is still in state "UNCONFIRMED". Tamblyne, did you try to set the issue to "NEW" but this failed? I would suggest to leave the target milestone value up to developers. Would you raise this at the dev@qa list? Greetings Stefan Hi, Stefan -- Thanks for the help. Yes, it looks like the New either didn't take, or I forgot to change it. Either way, I'm setting to "new". As to target milestone, I shall bring this up at the QA list for clarification. Further, behavior is still present in 1.1rc5. Thanks, Tam Reproduced on RH9: Steps (as visible in the attached snap shot): 1. type dummy text 2. select all and change the font to "Times" 3. change font size to "80pt" => characters are overlapping each others US->HDU: I guess you already own a similar inhouse task. I remember we saw a similar task on my old RH box (don't have that anymore). Probably related to glyph substitution. Yes, looks like the fix for issue 16573 or #110717# will also fix this one. The fix is in CWS vcl7pp1r2. I'm closing this as a duplicate then. Please reopen if the problem should still show up in OOo 1.1.1. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 16573 *** HDU->US: I suggest to verify the fix on the CWS vcl7pp1r2. indeed: vcl7pp1r2 solves this problem. Thx. HDU. Verified in vcl7pp1r2. Fix (probably) gets into OOo 1.1.1. *** Issue 21709 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Verified on MWS srx645_m27s1-1.8738. Will be integrated in forthcomming OOo 1.1.1. Closing dupe. |
