Description pjnunn 2003-09-19 08:42:50 UTC
No matter what I try, I can't get 1.1 RC4 to upgrade my OO installed by Mandrake
9.2 as it says every time.

The language of OpenOffice.org 1.1.0 found in the directory /usr/lib/openoffice
is different from the language of the update version. To abort the setup, click
'Cancel'. Otherwise, click 'OK' to install OpenOffice 1.1.0 in a new directory.

Well, this isn't OK!! I don't what two copies, I don't have the space nor do I
want to reset all the gnome defaults to use the correct version.

How do I over-write the installed version (or get rid of it)?

This should be an option.

Peter.

This is a Mandrake issue, they have created their own install
procedure for OOo.

Not an OOo problem.
