Description Unknown 2003-09-17 20:40:46 UTC
After using the Form Wizard from a table, and modifying the form from mostly
text boxes to mostly Combo boxes, the fields on the table unreliably transfer
the data to the table. One example is 9 fields I have with the same query
filling the combo box, all other settings are the same, yet only two of the nine
actually fill their respective fields in the database. In addition, some of the
fields are required to be filled, but which field is coming up empty changes. I
can redo the settings, switching the Combo box to a text box and back again,
which seems to resolve the issue, but then a date field will not work, fix that
and the combo box is not working again.

Hi AConnection,

I have no problem to fill my mysql fields with form with comboboxes.

have have done the following:
- create a form with the wizard on a mysql table with 2 textfields
- in the form design I delete the textfield
- I create a new combobox with the combobox wizard
- I use the field and table from the form
- I turn off the design view
==>> I can add new or update existing records. Everything works fine
for me.
So I set this issue to resolved/worksforme. Feel free to reopen this
issue, if you are still have trouble with this in the OOo 1.1 version.
If you reopen this issue please provide a detail step-by-step
description how I can reproduce this.

Bye Marc
