Double clicking on a chart (to select it) also hides the toolbar with the cell
contents edit and AutoFunction buttons. The user needs to click outside of the
chart (such as on the anchor icon) to get the toolbar back, which also has the
effect of deselecting the chart. While it's true that a user probably wouldn't
need the functionality of that toolbar while editing a chart, it's still poor
user interface design and very annoying to have this toolbar constantly
disappearing and reappearing. There's no need for that activity, so please
remove it.

Hi Phil,

I disagree !

The concept is to provide only the necessary toolsbars for the
application just used. So this is intentional and therefore it's
necessary to switch the toolbar for Calc off.

I would close this but send it to the feature department.

The concept will not be changed for OO.o 2.0. If you like you can
offer a proposal for a new user interface.
