The display of Grid Control in a Calc sheet is somewhat different between 
versions 1.1RC3 and 1.0.2. These minor differences can force the user to 
readjust width  of the Grid control for many existing forms. Attachment provides 
screenshots comparing both versions with exactly the same Calc sheet and 
database.

Please try the setting Tools options Spreadsheet General Use Printer
metrics.

This setting has changed it's default position since 1.0.2
