Description epo001 2003-07-29 16:51:47 UTC
This bug is serious because first impressions are the most lasting and the first
impression of OOo is not good.

The linux install needs a README.1st in the install directory to explain that
you need to run ./install as root (when you don't get the pretty visual
feedback!) and then go to the installed version and run ./setup for a
workstation as yourself (when you don't need the pretty visual feedback).

This is long standing and a major irritant, it would be trivial to fix, why not
just do it?
