Word file with table which imports wrongly into OOo none

Description markellse 2003-07-23 00:34:44 UTC
If a MSWord document contains a table whose paragraphs have a space after them
(in this case 6 pts) it makes the table rows in Word higher. But when this
table is in a document opened by OOo, the table rows are not higher than
normal.

Please explain more about your problem, your information is not enough
to investigate the problem. Please explain step by step.

I cannot see the different,I use OOo 1.1 Rc5, Win Xp Pro, I just see
that the table is wider than the width limit

Thanks

Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it
from www.openoffice.org

Comment 5 michael.ruess 2003-10-09 10:47:56 UTC
This problem is because OO Writer ignores paragraph spacings at cell
borders. For this, a compatibility option will be introduced in OO 2.0.

Closed. Has been implemented in snapshot build 680m38.
