I've downgraded from libc6 ver 2.2.* to release-specific version 2.1.3 I've found that it is likely to be the same problem as 1473! But my grafic card is Cirrus Logic 5446 GD - based and in has 2 Megs of memory... JRE 1.3.3 installed and has no effect. JRE installation dialog was not appeared and installation crashed. I'll test this with 638c build and SO6.0b in near future. Help me to debug this! Hi Vladimir, sorry for this late reaction. I've tried with with a standard 2.2 without any updates. I've had no problems to install/open OOo. I cannot see what might cause the problem on your computer. Perhaps a standard debian 2.2 might solve your problem. I've used GDB to trace setup program: gdb ./setup ... run ... trying to setup and getting crash gdb output was someting like this: Exit (error) code 01 What does this code mean? May be the problem is that I downgraded libc6 from 2.2.x to release-specific one? Maybe there are somr config incompatibility? Fixed in 638C, persist in 638 Fixed. |
