Description con.hennessy 2003-07-07 21:56:44 UTC
When opening a document with an unknown file extension the dialog "Filter Selection" is presented to
the user but using a mouse double click does not work. I can only do a single click and then a "OK".
For consistency it should also react to a double click.

TM->BH: As talked to MBA I set this issue from DEFECT to ENHANCEMENT
because the missing behaviour (doubleclick-action) doesn´t work on any
plattform and wasn´t implemented in this dialog. Please have a look,
thanks !

Hello Andreas, trying to load the attached icon shows the 'Filter
Selection' dialog. Please consider the double click for opening
entries in the future solution for filter detection (filter detection
wiz). Thank you.

Hmm ... from my point of view the filter selection dialog does not
make sense any more. Because its shown only, if no deep detection
service of an office installation can interpret the given document.
And as we can see for this example: an icon cant be loaded by the
office in general. TAnd in such case the user can select any filter he
want. The only effect happen on that would be "nothing" or may be a crash.

I will start discussion about this dialog ASAP.
