In OOo, make selection and use Format > Character > Position tab to choose angle of rotation. Tam Thanxs! Works for me too. Michiel That's great, Michiel. Thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org. : ) Tam I think this method of changing text direction needs mentioning in the Help files more. I was looking for "vertical text direction" and downloaded OO 2.1 because I thought 1.1 had no support for it. Then 2.1 for some reason has the button "Vertical Text" on the Drawing toolbar, but trying to make it a Visible Button has absolutely no effect, until you figure out that you need to enable Asian language support. Then you have to figure out how to do that. I am not sure what the value of restricting vertical text direction in this way to Asian language users only is. Finally I find the answer in IssueZilla and I didn't even need OO 2.1 after all!! |
