See also issue 14635 If you add a vote column to the output you may sort by votes by clicking on the "votes" link in the header. Thanks; now I can be more specific. It's too many steps for users to find out how to enable that column and then click on its header. If the HTML for the Query page added this choice to the "Sort By" listbox: <option VALUE="issues.votes desc, issues.issue_id">Votes</option> I'd be a happy camper. By the way, the </select> is missing for that <select> tag. Now, I could run my own query form with that option, since it's a client-side thing, and point people there instead of to the official query form. Maybe I'll do that until Issuezilla gets its act together... Hi Dan, I think, the current mechanism works just fine. You may add a column and you then may sort by it. Adding column values to the Sort-By would be depending on specific needs is not very generic. Should columns be mentioned which are not displayed? I don't think, that esp. adding "Votes" is more confusing than of help. Finally I wouldn't expect enhancements for IssueZilla as a the replacement Scarab is in development. If you still feel that we should hand this request to CollabNet, please reopen. Greetings, Stefan I'm happy enough since I can generate HTTP GET requests that yield results sorted by votes. No need to rock the boat. Thanks! The Issue you raised has been marked as 'Resolved' and not updated within the last 1 year+. I am therefore setting this issue to 'Verified' as the first step towards Closing it. If you feel this is incorrect, please re-open the issue and add any comments. Many thanks, Andrew Cleaning-up and Closing old Issues ~ The Grand Bug Squash, pre v3 ~ http://marketing.openoffice.org/3.0/announcementbeta.html As per previous posting: Verified -> Closed. A Closed Issue is a Happy Issue (TM). Regards, Andrew |
