Same crash in windows with mozilla 0.93 for opening splash screen when mozilla is selected. When Edit -> Database Exchange is selected it doens't crash but no selection is allowed with address. Alvin, can you please check the settings for your "Addresses" data source (Tools/Data sources)? Is it set to JDBC? I suspect so. If so, this bug describes two separate issues: One is the crash of the pilot, and one is the crash when accessing JDBC. The pilot first creates a dummy data source (and by default, new data sources are of type JDBC), and then fills it with settings for accessing the address data you've chosen. This second step obviously failed, so upon a restart, the data source, though named "Addresses", is simply a dummy JDBC data source. If so, would you mind filing a separate issue for this JDBC part? Something like "accessing a JDBC data source with java libs not available crashes OOo"? changed VCatalog::getTables (connectivity/source/sdbcx) accordingly ... Alvin, can you please confirm that the bug does not happen anymore in the latest build (OO641B)? If so, can you please close the bug? Fixed in OO641B. change subcomponent to 'none' |
